The Man from the Hill

A prodigious young entrepreneur, though from affluent circumstances, set out on his own and created a company from scratch. The Race Cars

In a highly publicized automobile race, only two contestants would compete for the prize. The drivers held comparable, even virtually identical, records. The cars themselves were the same make and model and were bespoke for their drives specifically for that race.

However, all of the publicity showcased only one of the cars and its driver. All wagers were placed on them, and all sports network interviews focused on this driver.

A casual and somewhat confused observer pointed out that the only difference between the two vehicles was the paint job. The car receiving all the attention had a bright color and a thin stripe along each side. The other car bore a different color with no stripes.

The outcome of the race?
